Rika was born and raised in Japan. She studied economics and worked for asset management companies for 5 years. Lately, she has been working as a financial consultant in Tokyo, Japan. She is proud of her job to help people in financial field. 

 

In the last year, Rika joined Miss Grand Japan 2021 and was named as the 1st Runner-Up. It was her first experience of participating in an international beauty pageant. She got an interest in pageant walking, and she has started to deliver the pageant walk methods to beauty pageant contestants in Japan. 

 

Rika loves helping people. She has volunteered at schools and hospitals and read books to children since she was a student. She says that children’s smile keeps her going. 

 

Her dream is to support all children to get the chance to study. She strongly believes that studying is power for child to build their career and make their lives better. To achieve this goal, she decided to take part in BEAUTIES of 5 CONTINENTS which is focus on supporting charities for children. Through the activities in this international beauty pageant, she hopes to find approaches for equal education.
